Abstract
In this article, the principle of full compensation for damages, which is considered one of the fundamental principles in the field of civil liability, has been analyzed using a descriptive analytical method with the aim of examining it in the Iranian legal system and the legal systems of foreign countries. The main question is whether such a principle is conceivable in the Iranian legal system or not? In this regard, by analyzing the concept of the principle of full compensation for damages and the criteria and challenges related to it, and by reviewing and reviewing the laws and regulations, it was concluded that, in general, the principle of full compensation for damages is acceptable in the Iranian legal system and is emphasized in laws and judicial procedures. However, there are challenges in the field of determining and compensating for damages that require further attention and reform.
