Abstract
The metaverse, according to many technology experts, is a vision of the future of the internet. The metaverse refers to a combination of virtual reality that merges aspects of physical life with digital life. In 2021, the excitement around the metaverse became widespread both globally and in our own country, Iran. In that year, Iranian users began purchasing virtual land in the metaverse and exploring existing metaverse platforms. As mentioned, the concept of the metaverse also became a trend in Iran in 2021. This popularity was such that advertisements for selling virtual land appeared on some domestic online classifieds platforms. However, like any new technology, it comes with challenges that make this virtual world a realm filled with known and unknown legal issues, as well as security concerns that the country faces. The aim of this article is to examine these challenges and propose solutions that might help overcome some of these issues, making the experience easier and more accessible for.
